Terms of use

These terms govern your use of Pensday. The most important part is simple: Pensday helps you track your GLP‑1 journey, but it is not a substitute for your prescriber or medical care.

Pensday was formerly called Tiro. It is the same app, and the App Store listing may still show the Tiro name while the change rolls out.

Who we are

The Pensday app and this website (the “Service”) are provided by Lightzone Solutions LTD (“we”, “us”), a company registered in England & Wales. These Terms of Use are a legal agreement between you and Lightzone Solutions LTD.

Acceptance of these terms

By downloading or using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.

Eligibility and age

You must be at least 13 years old to use Pensday. By using the Service you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you should review these terms with a parent or guardian.

Free features and Pensday Plus

Pensday is free to download, and everything you need to track your pens, such as doses, reminders, the estimated medication level, injection sites, symptoms and weight, is free. There are no ads.

Pensday Plus is an optional subscription that adds features such as AI food scanning and the 3D body scan. The price, billing period and any free trial are shown in the app before you buy, and may vary by country.

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase.
• A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your Apple ID is charged for the renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• If you start a free trial, the subscription begins and you are charged when the trial ends, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions). Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Plus until the end of the period you have paid for.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies.

Features built on estimates, such as food and body-scan results, are estimates and are not guaranteed to be accurate.

License to use the Service

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Pensday for your own personal, non-commercial health tracking, subject to these terms.

Accounts and anonymous use

You can use Pensday without an account. If you create one, you’re responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account. You can delete your account and data at any time from within the app or via our account deletion page.

Acceptable use

Don’t misuse the Service: no reverse engineering, no attempts to disrupt or gain unauthorized access, and no use that violates the law or the rights of others.

Intellectual property

Pensday, its design, and its content are owned by us and protected by law. Your tracking data remains yours; these terms don’t transfer ownership of your data to us.

Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers (such as our cloud backend and food-recognition provider) to function, as described in our privacy policy. Their terms and privacy practices govern their part of the Service.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We don’t guarantee that estimates, projections, or reminders will be accurate or uninterrupted.

Health and medical disclaimer

Pensday is a tracking companion, not a medical device, and nothing in the Service is medical advice. Estimated medication levels, titration planners, and projections are educational estimates based on public labels and clinical-trial averages. Always follow the dosing and schedule instructions from your prescriber, and never change your medication based on the app. See our full medical disclaimer.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, or for any health decisions you make. Your use of Pensday is at your own risk. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of the Service or your violation of these terms.

Termination

You can stop using Pensday and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and the courts of England & Wales will have jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, you may also be entitled to the protections of mandatory consumer-protection laws in your country of residence.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above, and continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
